"Chisik Island," by Bob Thompson, is set on the west side of Cook Inlet, 112 miles southwest of Anchorage, as the crow flies. This Cessna 150J tail dragger is a less common sight in Alaska compared to the 170B, 180, 185, and 206, but those whom have chosen them are very familiar with the performance they offer, for getting into remote areas around the state. They may not haul as much payload as a SuperCub, but they will haul two people to some pretty spectacular spots in the Great Land.
